Which vaccines are required?
We require the Rabies, Bordetella, and the DHLPP vaccines.
We also strongly encourage the Influenza vaccine. When there is a confirmed outbreak in the Charlotte area, it may be required in order to book a reservation.
Is Daycare included with Boarding?
Yes, all dogs that join us for Boarding are automatically included in Daycare - unless they need a solo experience, which includes one-on-one play time with the staff rather than group play with the other dogs.
Is a reservation required?
Yes, a reservation is required for all services. The cut-off to book next-day service through the portal is 8pm the night before. However, if you miss this cut-off, please email info@caninecornerclt.com or call the morning of to confirm availability and we will do our very best to accommodate you and your pup!
Do you offer grooming?
Yes! We offer full-service grooming (cutting, styling, dematting, and coat care) Monday through Wednesday and on Friday.
We offer baths and nail trims 7 days a week!
My dog is on medication, can it be given during their visit?
Absolutely! As long as they are not on any medication for a contagious condition, we are happy to accommodate your dog's medical needs, including medication.
Medication must be packed in the original container (with pet name, veterinarian, medication name, dosage instructions, and expiration date on the label).
Do dogs play inside or outside?
We have three outdoor play areas and three indoor play areas so pups can enjoy their day with us rain or shine!
Should I pack my dog's food?
Yes! Please pack your dog's food for their Boarding stay (and for Daycare if their meal times fall during their visit with us). It is important that they stay on the same diet so they can feel their best, especially if they have a sensitive stomach.
If you forget to pack their food, you may have it delivered, or we do offer a turkey-based house food option for $2.50 a meal.
What happens if my dog gets sick while at Canine Corner?
The health and safety of the dogs in our care is always our top priority. If your dog begins showing signs of illness or injury, we will separate them from the group to monitor more closely and minimize any risk of spreading illness. We will then contact you to discuss next steps.
If symptoms are severe or persist after one to two hours of monitoring, we will ask that you pick your dog up. If you are out of town, we will either take your dog to the vet on your behalf or you may arrange for your emergency contact to pick them up. Should the vet give your dog the all-clear, they are welcome to return to Canine Corner. If not, pickup arrangements will need to be made to protect the health of the other dogs in our care.
In the event of a medical emergency, our team will immediately transport your dog to the vet. While one team member focuses on transport, another will contact you. You will also be provided with the transporting staff member’s cell number for direct updates and ongoing communication.
